Perla Del Mar Perla Corojo Cigars by J.C. Newman
Perla del Mar, which translates to “Pearl of the Sea,” is a long discontinued Cuban cigar brand (later made in Tampa) that J.C. Newman resurrected in 2012. The cigars are rolled at the J.C. Newman’s PENSA factory, in Nicaragua, where all Perla del Mars are produced today. The lined Perla del Mar brand received a makeover, with new packaging and now available in 3 lines, Perla del Mar Shade, Perla del Mar Maduro and Perla del Mar Corojo.
The Perla del Mar Corojo blend utilizes a rich and spicy Ecuadorian corojo wrapper with an all Nicaraguan blend which delivers a core of solid medium to full flavor and delivers a pleasant spicy and pepper flavor profile, while still achieving a balanced approach of strengthen and flavor. This blend is a perfect cigar for those who are looking for a quality smoke that’s not in your face but delivers solid flavors without breaking the bank.
