BERGER & ARGENTI ENTUBAR GRAN TORO 64 X 6 - 5/8

BERGER & ARGENTI ENTUBAR GRAN TORO 6 - 5/8 X 64

Named for the method in which it is rolled, the Berger & Argenti Entubar is one of the most unique cigars ever made! A classic Cuban method of rolling a cigar, the Entubar is done by rolling the filler tobaccos into tubes, causing the center leaf to extend past the foot of the cigar, creating a “fuse” at the end.

Berger & Argenti Entubar Gran Toro cigar is a full-bodied, super-premium cigar brand that merges Old World cigar making with New World innovation. Entubar is a revolutionary creation that pays tribute to the time-honored Cuban cigar making technique known as "entubar" while also establishing an innovative patent-pending process of cigar manufacturing not seen in the premium cigar industry before.

Each deeply aged Nicaraguan filler leaf is carefully rolled into itself creating delicate scrolls of rich, flavorful tabacco. This age-old method ensures open chambers of air flow from the foot to the head of the cigar, creating a superior draw. The ligero tobacco leaves that lend the cigar its unique full body are bunchced entubar independently from the rest of the blend before it's re-bunched directly into the center of the remaining entubar rolled filler blend. Comprised of all Cuban seed Nicaraguan filler and binder tobaccos, Entubar Gran Toro cigars are graced with a stalk-cut, Ecuadorian Desflorado Connecticut-seed wrapper which lends its characteristaclly long, sweet finish.

Berger Argenti Entubar Gran Toro is full-bodied and smooth, with a taste that's creamy, toasty, earthy and nutty with some sweet spice flavors mixed in. It's very well balanced and consistent in flavor. You can feel the thickness of the smoke on the palate and even after you you finish it the sweet spices linger in your mouth, as opposed to the tobacco taste most other cigars leave behind. Gran Toro is 6-5/8 in length with a gauge of 64. 10 cigars come in the rustic Spanish cedar boxes.

    B & A Entubar

Posted by Jared R on Sep 30th 2022

The story/history on this cigar is nearly as great (albeit somewhat sad), as the cigar itself. Originally put to market as the B & A Entubar Quad & Quad Maduro with different packaging, it failed miserably in 2001 due to it's extremely high price coming from a cigar by a brand-new company. Flash-forward a little over a decade & the cigar was re-released in 2013, yet this time with a new label (this one) & a slightly lower price. Having had & owning all sizes, I can tell you they were all excellent, and truly only something a master blender and cigarmaker could craft, which brings up to the ever-so-crazy shape known as the "Entubar". Very few, and I mean VERY FEW, hands out there can even roll this style of a cigar, one of those was Kiki Berger (the "B" of "B & A" with Peter Argenti being the "A"). Unfortunately, while the cigar found success with the 2013 re-released, Kiki Berger died suddenly in 2014 & the cigars were no longer produced due to the lack of master rollers available to roll it. This cigar is a classic & a great one with flavors of chocolate, coffee and spice exploding from the onset & later on compliments of floral notes and a bit of creamyness. Far and away one of the best cigars ever that ever was produced.
