Big, bad, and bold, JFR Corojo comes in chunky sizes and is rolled beautifully. The reddish brown wrapper is rustic and toothy, with delicate veins running throughout. A dense pack leads to long, solid ashes and silky blue smoke. Initially, an earthy storm of white pepper and cayenne greets the palate. Moving along, nutmeg, cinnamon, and bold raw tobacco are detectable, along with a leather note and smooth caramel on the finish. Medium-full-bodied, JFR Corojo is never overpowering and is actually quite pleasant to enjoy. The 6 1/2” x 52 Super Toro is smooth and mellow, offering a long burn time.
