The My Father Connecticut is the first My Father brand for the national market to use an Ecuadoran Connecticut-seed wrapper. Although the blend is considered a milder departure from the My Father current lineup, the cigar packs a full flavored profile and smokes like a mild - medium bodied smoke. The blend is comprised of a Connecticut-seed wrapper grown in Ecuador, a Corojo '99 binder from Nicaragua and a Nicaraguan filler blend of Habano and Criollo leaf, all of which are grown on the Garcia's farms in Nicaraguan with the exception of the wrapper. What makes this different then most Connecticut wrapped cigars is that one of the tobaccos used in this blend undertakes a special fermentation process with an aging and curing time of 3 years that enhances the aroma and flavor.
