The 1950 is named for Pepin. Our favorite was the 1979, a robusto size (5 inches by 50 ring), named for his daughter Janny, who works alongside him. It has lots of wood, leather and toasted almonds on the palate, a rich, medium- to full-bodied smoke with a long finish.
