After being aged for six years, the Maduro wrappers are bourbon barrel-aged for an additional 14 months. These bourbon barrel-aged wrappers are at their peak of color, texture, aroma, and flavor, making each cigar a perfectly smooth and balanced smoking experience.
The new Perdomo Habano Bourbon Barrel Aged cigar features a wrapper that has been aged for a minimum of 6 years. They're not done yet though, the Maduro wrapper then gets another 14 additional months inside bourbon barrels to give it a distinct flavor! The blend continues with a collection of high-priming Cuban seed binders and fillers from Jalapa, Condega, and Esteli, Nicaragua. The result is a medium to full bodied smoke with rich, robust flavors of dark cocoa and roasted coffee.
