Sancho Panza Extra Fuerte Toro is the third and final installment in the revamped Sancho Panza cigar lineup from Matt Booth and General Cigar. The original Extra Fuerte blend (literally translated “extra strong”) came out when cigars were generally on the mild side. While it may have been ahead of its time back then, over the years the blend, along with the Sancho Panza brand as a whole, fell into the shadows behind the hundreds of new blends, brands, and legacies that have taken over what is today’s cigar industry. However, Matt Booth and his team have now brought the Extra Fuerte back even stronger than before, with completely redone packaging and blending, with the goal of putting Sancho Panza back into the limelight. This all-new concoction is made at the STG factory in Danli, Honduras using a blend of Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers. The binder is Connecticut Broadleaf, and the wrapper is a dark Ecuadoran Sumatra leaf that adds a delightful punch of strength to the recipe. The boldest one of the group, Sancho Panza Extra Fuerte offers one heck of an exciting ride.
